Enclosures
Precision Digital offers a variety of rugged enclosures that provide a high degree of protection against harsh operating environments. Process meters and controllers can be mounted so that all programming and operational functions are available without opening the enclosure, or they can be mounted inside the enclosure behind a clear cover for maximum protection. Enclosures can house up to ten meters each with custom configurations available, feature rugged thermoplastic material, stainless steel, or steel, and are rated for UL NEMA 4/4X or IP66.

  • PDA3400 Series Internally Mounted NEMA 4X Plastic Enclosures

    PDA3400 NEMA 4X enclosures provide a high degree of protection against the harsh operating environment of an industrial plant. Precision Digital’s meters can be mounted in various configurations; interior mounting plates with cutouts for up to three meters are available. Meters are mounted inside the enclosure for maximum protection and the clear polycarbonate cover is held in place with four screws. A dual orientation enclosure for two 1/8 DIN devices is also available. Enclosures and meters are ordered and packaged separately.

  • PDA2800 Series NEMA 4 & 4X Low-Cost Plastic Enclosures

    PDA2800 enclosures are low-cost, compact, NEMA 4X plastic enclosures that will house various Precision Digital meters. The cover is held in place with four screws and a hole is provided for a 1/2" conduit connection. A dual orientation enclosure for two 1/8 DIN devices is also available. Enclosures and meters are ordered and packaged separately.

  • PDA2300 Series NEMA 4X Plastic Enclosures

    PDA2300 NEMA 4X, C-UL listed enclosures feature a hinged door in which meters are mounted so all programming and operational functions are available without opening the enclosure. The PDA2300 can house between one and ten meters in either horizontal or vertical orientation. A dual orientation enclosure for two 1/8 DIN devices is also available. All PDA2300 enclosures are outfitted with stainless-steel hinges and clasps. Enclosures and meters are ordered and packaged separately.

    PDA2700 steel, NEMA 4 enclosures feature a hinged door in which meters are mounted so all programming and operational functions are available without opening the enclosure. The PDA2700 can house between one and six meters in either horizontal or vertical orientation. Dual orientation enclosures for multiple 1/8 DIN devices are also available. Enclosures and meters are ordered and packaged separately.

Precision Digital’s meters are mounted inside the enclosure for maximum protection. The PDA2400 can house up to four 1/4 DIN meters or up to two 1/8 DIN meters in either horizontal or vertical orientation. A dual orientation enclosure for two 1/8 DIN devices is also available. The clear plastic cover is held in place with four screws.

  • PDS178 Watchdog Scanner Temperature & Process System

    The PDS178 Watchdog Temperature Scanning & Alarming System brings together a popular combination of Precision Digital products: the Trident meter, the Minimux II scanner, and the PDA2821 NEMA 4X enclosure. The scanner automatically switches between up to eight (8) input signals (4-20 ma, ±10 V, TC, or RTD) and sends them to the Trident meter for display. Signal switching is done via DPST reed relays. The Watchdog can be used in a variety of temperature and process monitoring applications. A very common application for this system is to monitor bearing temperatures. The Trident meter included with this system is available with standard 0.56" (14.2 mm) high LED digits or large 1.2" (30.5 mm) high LEDs.
