CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Precision Digital Corp is open for business today and we are providing application and technical support and order entry as normal. However, due to interruptions in international supply chains, our ability to ship product has been severely hampered and we don’t expect that to change until late April.

Digital strain gauge and load cell meters from Precision Digital are designed for accurate measurement of weight and force. With a max output current of 350 mA at 10 V, they can support up to twelve (12) 350 Ω load cells (minimum load resistance of 28 Ω), making them ideal for multipoint weight measurement applications. Large, dual-line, 6-digit displays provide easy viewing of single or dual-scales. Strain meters are available in NEMA 4X front digital panel meters and FM, CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approved explosion-proof meters for hazardous areas. The explosion-proof models include SafeTouch® through-glass buttons for access to zero, tare, and other functions without the need to remove the enclosure cover.

  • Go with the Helios PD2-6100 when you have a weighing application where you need to read the display from a distance, or outside in the bright sunlight in temperatures between -40 to 150°F. The PD2-6100 tare feature can be used to remove the weight of the container from the weight calculation. You can even re-transmit the weight signal with the PD2-6100's optional 4-20 mA output.

    Why you should buy:
    • Large Dual Line Display
    • Load Cell and mV
    • Dual Scale Weight and Volume
  • The PD6100 is a member of the ProVu series of 1/8 DIN digital panel meters that accepts strain gauge & load cell inputs and mV signals up to 300 mV (unipolar) and ± 250 mV (bipolar) for weight indication and force measurement applications. With a max output current of 350 mA at 10 V, it can support up to twelve (12) 350 Ω load cells (minimum load resistance of 28 Ω), making it ideal for multipoint weight measurement applications. The PD6100's dual-line display and powerful dual-scale capability allows the measurement to be displayed in two different units of measure; gallons (volume) could be displayed on the upper line while pounds (weight) is displayed on the lower line, for example. Another use for the PD6100’s dual-line display is to simply show the units of measure on the bottom line. The PD6100 stain gauge meter includes a 24 VDC power supply to drive the sensors and can be equipped with up to four internal relays and two 4-20 mA outputs.

    Why you should buy:
  • The ProtEX-MAX PD8-6100 offers all the functionality of the ProVu PD6100 as a fully FM, CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approved explosion-proof product. It accepts strain gauge & load cell inputs and mV signals up to 300 mV (unipolar) and ± 250 mV (bipolar) for weight and force measurement applications. With a max output current of 350 mA at 10 V, it can support up to twelve (12) 350 Ω load cells (minimum load resistance of 28 Ω), making them ideal for multipoint weight measurement applications.
