Precision Digital's ProVu series of 1/8 DIN digital panel meters is our most popular product family. They offer a wide variety of analog and pulse inputs as well as Modbus® RTU serial communication, an easy-to-read dual-line display, UL/c-UL listing and CE marking, and a durable NEMA 4X front. All ProVu models are also available with optional SunBright® sunlight readable displays that can be viewed in direct sunlight. The ProVu series is available with up to 4 relays onboard and a 4-20 mA output. The dual-line display is useful in both programming and operating mode. In programming mode, the second line shows context for the current menu. In operating mode, the simplest use of the dual-line display is to display a unit tag below the process variable. A more advanced use for the dual-line feature is the ProVu’s unique dual-scaling capability, which allows the two lines to read different scales for the same input.

  • PD6088 ProVu Decimal Display Modbus Scanner

    The ProVu PD6088 Super Snooper Modbus® scanner displays up to 16 Modbus process variables (PVs) on the bus using its RS-485 serial input. The PD6088 can function as a Modbus master, slave, or snooper. As a Modbus master, the PD6088 can poll multiple Modbus devices for up to 16 Modbus process variables. As a slave, a Modbus master can write up to 16 PVs to the scanner for display. In snooper mode, it can sit anywhere on the Modbus network and display up to 16 PVs being polled on the bus. When connecting a scanner in snooper mode, no other Modbus devices on the network need to be reconfigured, making it easy to add additional local or remote displays to a Modbus network. Like all ProVu meters, the PD6088 includes UL / C-UL listing and CE marking, a NEMA 4X front, and AC or DC power options. Various math functions may be applied to the analog or Modbus inputs, such as addition, difference, average, and ratio.

    The ProVu PD6080 Super Snooper Modbus® scanner is a multi-purpose display and controller capable of scanning up to 16 Modbus process variables and accepts two analog process inputs. The scanner can be programmed as a Modbus RTU master, slave, or snooper. It is the ideal display for Modbus multivariable transmitters or for existing Modbus networks with transmitters in need of an easy-to-read and conveniently located remote display. As a master, the PD6080 can read up to 16 Modbus registers on up to 16 Modbus devices and automatically alternate each of these process variables (PVs) on the dual-line display along with a unit and tag for each. In snooper mode, the PD6080 can read any Modbus variable being polled by a master, which allows you to easily add a display into an existing Modbus network.     The ProVu PD6081 Super Snooper feet & inches Modbus® scanner displays level information on a specially designed feet & inches display, instead of the usual decimal format. It is the ideal display for Modbus level or multivariable transmitters and is capable of scanning up to 16 Modbus process variables. Its unique feet & inches upper LED display can indicate up to 99 feet, 11 and 15/16 inches. The 6-digit lower display can indicate units, tags, or other variables such as volume, temperature, or density.
