Explosion-Proof ATEX (FP) Feet & Inches

Explosion-Proof
Precision Digital manufactures a wide variety of explosion-proof indicators and controllers which can be powered via either loop or line power and carry all the major approvals, such as CSA, ATEX and IECEx. These instruments will accept a wide range of inputs, such as 4-20 mA, strain gauge, pulse, thermocouple, RTD and Modbus and can be equipped with relays, 4-20 mA outputs and serial re-transmission. They all feature displays that can be easily read in various lighting conditions, from wide angles, and from considerable distances.

Explosion-Proof ATEX (FP) Feet & Inches

  • The PD6801 is a rugged, full-featured, explosion-proof loop-powered meter specifically designed for level applications in hazardous areas or in the harshest environmental conditions. Instead of the usual decimal display, the meter displays level in feet, inches, and fractions of an inch with a 20-segment tank level indicator. The secondary display can show a custom unit or tag, percent full, or a second scale for the 4-20 mA input used to indicate volume. The backlight feature makes the display visible under any lighting condition and can be powered from either the 4-20 mA loop or from a separate DC power supply.

  • The ProtEX PD6830X is an explosion-proof, RS485 serial input Modbus® RTU scanner capable of scanning up to 16 Modbus variables and displaying them on an easy-to-read, dual-line, LCD display. This Modbus scanner can be programmed as a Modbus RTU master, slave, or snooper. The PD6830X is available in two upper display line configurations: 5-digit decimal display and feet & inches display with bar graph. The lower line is the same for both versions and consists of seven alphanumeric characters. Like all ProtEX products, the PD6830 carries CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approvals for use in hazardous areas. Two features that really make the PD6830X stand out are its wide viewing angle display and SafeTouch® through-glass buttons. These buttons allow the PD6830X to be programmed and operated through the glass, thus eliminating the need to remove the cover in a hazardous area.
