Temperature Annunciators & Scanners

Temperature
Precision Digital offers a variety of temperature application solutions for temperature transmitters or direct temperature inputs. These include digital panel meters, explosion-proof displays, temperature scanning systems, and auto-tuning PID temperature controllers. These devices work with thermocouple, RTD, or transmitter analog inputs and include relays and 4-20 mA analog output control and alarm options. Temperature meters are available in NEMA 4X front digital panel meters and FM, CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approved explosion-proof meters for hazardous areas.

Temperature Annunciators & Scanners

  • The MINIMUX® II PD138 is a microprocessor-based, eight-channel analog input scanner/multiplexer and annunciator that provides low-cost automatic switching for multi-point display and alarm systems. It can automatically switch up to eight inputs to another device such as a digital panel meter, controller, or PLC. Signal switching is done via reed relays making the PD138 ideal for switching thermocouples, RTDs, control loops, and AC/DC signals. They feature rugged NEMA 4X/IP65 fronts and a wide operating temperature range. They can be programmed for many common ISA alarm sequences including first out indication and they provide alarm signaling through front panel LEDs and a build in 85 dB horn. Custom printed message labels can be included with your order at no additional charge.

    Why you should buy:
    • Scans Temperature and Analog Inputs
    • Channel Alarms
    • NEMA 4X/IP65 Front
  • The PDS178 Watchdog Temperature Scanning & Alarming System brings together a popular combination of Precision Digital products: the Trident meter, the Minimux II scanner, and the PDA2821 NEMA 4X enclosure. The scanner automatically switches between up to eight (8) input signals (4-20 ma, ±10 V, TC, or RTD) and sends them to the Trident meter for display. Signal switching is done via DPST reed relays. The Watchdog can be used in a variety of temperature and process monitoring applications. A very common application for this system is to monitor bearing temperatures. The Trident meter included with this system is available with standard 0.56" (14.2 mm) high LED digits or large 1.2" (30.5 mm) high LEDs.
