Process
Process meters are high precision instruments designed to measure, display, alarm, and control a wide range of process variables, such as 4-20 mA and 0-10 V analog inputs. Precision Digital’s process meters are available with relays, analog and open collector outputs, 24 V transmitter power supply, programmable function keys and advanced signal input conditioning, all of which greatly increase their functionality and utility. Many of these meters include sunlight-readable, dual-line LED displays, wide angle viewing, increased power efficiency, and digital serial communications. Process meters are available in NEMA 4X front digital panel meters as well as FM, CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approved explosion-proof and intrinsically safe meters for hazardous areas.

  • The PD6060 is a member of the ProVu series of 1/8 DIN digital panel meters that accepts two inputs of either a process current (4-20 mA) or process voltage (0-5V, 1-5V, etc.) signal. It displays these signals on a dual line, 6-digit display that is available with an optional Sunbright® sunlight readable LEDs. The meter can be customized such that these two inputs are displayed in a variety of ways, including both at the same time with tags or the result of math functions performed on one or both of the inputs. Like all ProVu meters, the PD6060 includes UL / C-UL listing and CE marking, a NEMA 4X front, and AC or DC power options. The PD6060 can also be equipped with up to four internal relays, a 4-20 mA analog output, and Modbus® serial communications. The PD6060 includes a 24 V DC power supply to drive the transmitters. ProVu meters can be programmed via the front panel pushbuttons or free MeterView® Pro software.

    Why you should buy:
  • The Vantageview PD6701 is one of Precision Digital's most advanced and feature-packed plastic, field-mounted, loop-powered indicators designed specifically for level applications that require a feet & inches display. The PD6701 can indicate up to 399 feet, 11 and 15/16 (or 7/8) inches. The PD6701 is built in a NEMA 4X and IP65 rated plastic enclosure which can stand up to even the harshest environmental conditions. It features a dual-line display that can be easily scaled in the field for any 4-20 mA analog input. Two features that really make the PD6701 stand out are its wide viewing angle display and SafeTouch® through-window buttons. These buttons allow the PD6701 tank-side indicator to be programmed and operated through the cover window, thus eliminating the need to remove the cover in dirty or wet environments.

    Why you should buy:
  • The ProtEX-FarVu PD6870 is a rugged, explosion-proof, loop-powered meter with 1" display digits ideal for demanding applications in hazardous areas or in the harshest environmental conditions. It is available in either an aluminum or stainless steel enclosure with ¾" or M20 connections. It will operate down to -40°C and is approved for installation in areas where the temperature gets as cold as -55°C, however, the display will cease functioning.

    Why you should buy:
  • The Vantageview PD6770 is a plastic, loop-powered process meter with 1" display digits in a field-mountable enclosure designed for demanding applications. The meter derives all of its power from the 4-20 mA loop with a small 1 V drop, so there is no need to run additional, costly power lines. The PD6770 is built in a NEMA 4X and IP65 rated plastic enclosure which can stand up to even the harshest environmental conditions. It is programmed using four easy-to-access, front-mounted control dials.

    Why you should buy:

    • Loop-Powered
    • Large Digits
    • Backlight Option
  • The ProtEX-MAX PD8-6060 process meter offers all the functionality of the ProVu PD6060 as a CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certified explosion-proof product. It is available in an aluminum or stainless steel enclosure and will operate over a wide temperature range of -55 to 65°C (-67 to 149°F). It accepts two inputs of either a process current (4-20 mA) or process voltage (0-5V, 1-5V, etc.) signal. It displays these signals on a dual-line, 6-digit Sunbright sunlight readable display. The meter can be customized such that these two inputs are displayed in a variety of ways, including both at the same time with tags or the result of math functions performed on one or both of the inputs. The PD8-6060 can be equipped with four internal relays and a 4-20 mA analog output. It can be programmed and operated without opening the housing by using the built-in SafeTouch through-glass buttons or the RS-485 serial communication port with free Modbus protocol.

    Why you should buy:
  • The PD6001 is a member of the ProVu series of 1/8 DIN digital panel meters specifically designed to display level in feet and inches, instead of the usual decimal format. The PD6001 accepts a process current (4-20 mA) or process voltage (0-5V, 1-5V, etc.) signal and displays that signal on a dual line display with convenient feet and inches designations on the upper line. The upper display can even read fractions of an inch in 8ths or 16ths. The lower line can be used to indicate a tag or to display the input in another scale, such as volume in gallons or liters. Like all ProVu meters, the PD6001 includes UL / C-UL listing and CE marking, a NEMA 4X front, and AC or DC power options. ProVu meters can be equipped with up to four internal relays, a 4-20 mA output and Modbus® serial communications. The PD6001 includes a 24 VDC power supply to drive the transmitter and can be programmed via the front panel pushbuttons or free MeterView® Pro software.

    Why you should buy:
  • The PD662 NEMA 4X, CSA Certified loop-powered meter is perfect
for applications where a simple, inexpensive display is required
and AC power is not available. The PD662 derives all its power
from the 4-20 mA loop, including its optional backlight feature. It
can be easily scaled in the field using four push buttons; with or
without applying an actual calibration signal. The PD662’s display
will read up to 2999; we call this 3½+ digits! The PD662 is housed
in a rugged NEMA 4X enclosure and is provided with one ½" NPT
    pipe conduit hole.

    Why you should buy:
  • The MINIMUX® II PD138 is a microprocessor-based, eight-channel analog input scanner/multiplexer and annunciator that provides low-cost automatic switching for multi-point display and alarm systems. It can automatically switch up to eight inputs to another device such as a digital panel meter, controller, or PLC.
