Level is one of the most common applications for Precision Digital’s meters. Our most popular products can be used for level applications and we also have meters that are specifically intended for use in level systems. These digital panel meters and explosion-proof indicators communicate critical level information at eye-level to the operator, effectively increasing safety by eliminating the need for operators to climb the tanks. The level can also be controlled with the use of relays, open collector, or 4-20 mA analog outputs.     The ProtEX-MAX PD8-6081 Super Snooper feet & inches Modbus scanner offers all the functionality of the ProVu PD6081 as a CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certified explosion-proof product. It is available in an aluminum or stainless steel enclosure and will operate over a wide temperature range of -55 to 65°C (-67 to 149°F). It displays level information on a specially designed feet & inches display, instead of the usual decimal format. It is the ideal display for hazardous areas with Modbus level or multivariable transmitters and is capable of scanning up to 16 process variables. Its unique feet & inches upper LED display can indicate up to 99 feet, 11 and 15/16 inches. The 6-digit lower display can indicate units, tags, or other variables such as volume, temperature, or density. The PD8-6081 also has dual analog inputs, for integrating traditional 4-20 mA or voltage inputs in the display scanning. The scanner can be setup as a Modbus master, slave, or snooper.     The ProVu PD6088 Super Snooper Modbus® scanner displays up to 16 Modbus process variables (PVs) on the bus using its RS-485 serial input. The PD6088 can function as a Modbus master, slave, or snooper. As a Modbus master, the PD6088 can poll multiple Modbus devices for up to 16 Modbus process variables.     The MINIMUX® II PD138 is a microprocessor-based, eight-channel analog input scanner/multiplexer and annunciator that provides low-cost automatic switching for multi-point display and alarm systems.     The ProVu PD6080 Super Snooper Modbus® scanner is a multi-purpose display and controller capable of scanning up to 16 Modbus process variables and accepts two analog process inputs. The scanner can be programmed as a Modbus RTU master, slave, or snooper. It is the ideal display for Modbus multivariable transmitters or for existing Modbus networks with transmitters in need of an easy-to-read and conveniently located remote display. As a master, the PD6080 can read up to 16 Modbus registers on up to 16 Modbus devices and automatically alternate each of these process variables (PVs) on the dual-line display along with a unit and tag for each.     The ProtEX-MAX PD8-6001 explosion-proof level indicator offers all the functionality of the ProVu PD6001 as a CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certified explosion-proof product. It is available in an aluminum or stainless steel enclosure and will operate over a wide temperature range of -55 to 65°C (-67 to 149°F). It is specifically designed to display level in feet & inches, instead of the usual decimal format. The meter accepts a process current (4-20 mA) or process voltage (0-5V, 1-5V, etc.) signal and displays that signal on a dual-line display with convenient feet and inches designations on the upper line. The upper display can even read fractions of an inch in 8ths or 16ths. The lower line can be used to indicate a tag or to display the input in another scale, such as volume in gallons or liters.
