Level CE Flow Rate Totalizer

Level
Level is one of the most common applications for Precision Digital’s meters. Our most popular products can be used for level applications and we also have meters that are specifically intended for use in level systems. These digital panel meters and explosion-proof indicators communicate critical level information at eye-level to the operator, effectively increasing safety by eliminating the need for operators to climb the tanks. The level can also be controlled with the use of relays, open collector, or 4-20 mA analog outputs. Select products include specialized level features such as pump alternation control, unique feet & inches displays with clearly labeled units, and dual-scale level displays that show level in two units from a single transmitter signal.

  • The ProtEX PD6830X is an explosion-proof, RS485 serial input Modbus® RTU scanner capable of scanning up to 16 Modbus variables and displaying them on an easy-to-read, dual-line, LCD display. This Modbus scanner can be programmed as a Modbus RTU master, slave, or snooper. The PD6830X is available in two upper display line configurations: 5-digit decimal display and feet & inches display with bar graph. The lower line is the same for both versions and consists of seven alphanumeric characters.

The ProtEX PD6830X carries all major approvals including:

    •  FM Approved as Explosion-Proof / Dust Ignition-Proof / Flame-Proof •  CSA Certified as Explosion-Proof / Dust Ignition-Proof / Flame-Proof •  ATEX and IECEx Certified as Explosion-Proof

Two features that really make the PD6830X stand out are its wide viewing angle display and SafeTouch through-glass buttons. These buttons allow the PD6830X to be programmed and operated through the glass, thus eliminating the need to remove the cover in a hazardous area.

  • The PD659 series includes DIN mountable models for signal isolation, splitting and conditioning of 4-20 mA and 0-10 VDC signals. As signal isolators, they provide a convenient way to isolate the input signal from the power source and output signal. As splitters, they split one 4-20 mA input into two isolated 4-20 mA outputs. As signal conditioners, they convert either a 4-20 mA input to a 0-10 VDC output or a 0-10 VDC input to a 4-20 mA output.
