The Vantageview PD6720 is a plastic, field-mounted, loop-powered flow rate/totalizer that can display flow rate and total from an analog output (4-20 mA) flowmeter. The fact that this meter is loop-powered means that there is no need to run additional, costly power lines. The display has a five digit upper display for rate, a seven alpha-numeric character lower display for total, and comes standard with a backlight. The PD6720 is built in a NEMA 4X and IP65 rated plastic enclosure which can stand up to even the harshest environmental conditions. Two features that really make it stand out are a wide viewing angle display and SafeTouch® through-window buttons. These buttons allow the PD6720 to be programmed and operated through the cover window, thus eliminating the need to remove the cover in dirty or wet environments.

It is available in an aluminum or stainless steel enclosure and will operate over a wide temperature range of -55 to 65°C (-67 to 149°F). It accepts a process current (4-20 mA) or process voltage (0-5V, 1-5V, etc.) signal and displays it on a dual-line, 6-digit Sunbright sunlight readable display. The meter includes a 24 VDC power supply to drive the transmitter and can be equipped with four internal relays and a 4-20 mA output. The PD8-6000 can be programmed and operated without opening the housing by using the built-in CapTouch through-glass buttons or the RS-485 serial communication port with free Modbus protocol.

The meter can be customized such that these two inputs are displayed in a variety of ways, including both at the same time with tags or the result of math functions performed on one or both of the inputs. It is an analog input (4-20 mA, 0-5 V, 1-5 V, etc.) digital batch controller specifically designed for single and multi-stage batching applications. It provides excellent but simple batch control capabilities with features such as preclose relays and automatic overrun correction for more accurate batches and convenient CapTouch through-glass buttons for simple operation and menu navigation without having to remove the cover. The preclose deactivates a specific relay before the batch is finished in order to allow slower fill rates and increased accuracy. Automatic overrun correction keeps the batch size accurate over time and with system wear. The PD8-6210 includes a 24 VDC power supply to drive the flowmeter and can be equipped with four internal relays and a 4-20 mA analog output.
