Sunlight Readable Display Analog Input Field Mount Process Display

The ProtEX-RTA PD6820 is an explosion-proof, loop-powered flow rate/totalizer that can display flow rate and total from an analog output (4-20 mA) flowmeter. The fact that this meter is loop-powered means that there is no need to run additional, costly power lines into a hazardous area. The display has a five digit upper display for rate, a seven alpha-numeric character lower display for total, and comes standard with a backlight. Like all ProtEX products, the PD6820 explosion-proof flow rate/totalizer carries FM, CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approvals for use in hazardous areas. Two features that really make this flow rate/totalizer stand out are a wide viewing angle display and SafeTouch® through-glass buttons. These buttons allow the PD6820 to be programmed and operated through the glass, thus eliminating the need to remove the cover in a hazardous area.

The ProtEX FarVu PD6870 is an explosion-proof, loop-powered process meter with 1" display digits in a field-mountable enclosure designed for demanding applications in hazardous areas or in the harshest environmental conditions. The meter derives all of its power from the 4-20 mA loop with a small 1 V drop so there is no need to run additional, costly power lines into a hazardous area. Like all ProtEX products, the PD6870 loop-powered indicator carries FM, CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approvals for use in hazardous areas. It is programmed using four easy-to-access, front-mounted control dials.

The ProtEX-MAX PD8-6060 process meter offers all the functionality of the ProVu PD6060 as a CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certified explosion-proof product. It is available in an aluminum or stainless steel enclosure and will operate over a wide temperature range of -55 to 65°C (-67 to 149°F). It accepts two inputs of either a process current (4-20 mA) or process voltage (0-5V, 1-5V, etc.) signal. It displays these signals on a dual-line, 6-digit Sunbright sunlight readable display. The meter can be customized such that these two inputs are displayed in a variety of ways, including both at the same time with tags or the result of math functions performed on one or both of the inputs. The PD8-6060 can be equipped with four internal relays and a 4-20 mA analog output. It can be programmed and operated without opening the housing by using the built-in SafeTouch through-glass buttons or the RS-485 serial communication port with free Modbus protocol.

The ProtEX-MAX PD8-6001 explosion-proof level indicator offers all the functionality of the ProVu PD6001 as a CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certified explosion-proof product. It is available in an aluminum or stainless steel enclosure and will operate over a wide temperature range of -55 to 65°C (-67 to 149°F). It is specifically designed to display level in feet & inches, instead of the usual decimal format. The meter accepts a process current (4-20 mA) or process voltage (0-5V, 1-5V, etc.) signal and displays that signal on a dual-line display with convenient feet and inches designations on the upper line. The upper display can even read fractions of an inch in 8ths or 16ths. The lower line can be used to indicate a tag or to display the input in another scale, such as volume in gallons or liters. The PD8-6001 includes a 24 VDC power supply to drive the transmitter and can be equipped with four internal relays and a 4-20 mA output. It can be programmed and operated without opening the housing by using the built-in SafeTouch through-glass buttons or the RS-485 serial communication port with free Modbus protocol.
