Sunlight Readable Display Dual-Line Display Process Display

The PD7000 is a member of the ProVu series of 1/8 DIN digital panel meters that accepts a direct temperature input from a wide range of temperature measurement devices (type J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, and C thermocouples and 100 or 1000 Ω platinum, 10 Ω copper, 120 Ω nickel RTDs). It displays the measured temperature in either degrees Fahrenheit or degrees Celsius on a dual-line, 6-digit display that is available with optional Sunbright® sunlight readable LEDs. The PD7000 temperature indicator includes automatic cold junction compensation for thermocouples and the ability to average up to ten (10) RTD sensors. Like all ProVu meters, the PD7000 temperature meter includes UL / C-UL listing and CE marking, a NEMA 4X front, and AC or DC power options. ProVu meters can be equipped with up to four internal relays, a 4-20 mA output and Modbus® RTU serial communications. The PD7000 can be programmed via the front panel pushbuttons or free MeterView® Pro software.

The Vantageview PD6720 is a plastic, field-mounted, loop-powered flow rate/totalizer that can display flow rate and total from an analog output (4-20 mA) flowmeter. The fact that this meter is loop-powered means that there is no need to run additional, costly power lines. The display has a five digit upper display for rate, a seven alpha-numeric character lower display for total, and comes standard with a backlight. The PD6720 is built in a NEMA 4X and IP65 rated plastic enclosure which can stand up to even the harshest environmental conditions. Two features that really make it stand out are a wide viewing angle display and SafeTouch® through-window buttons. These buttons allow the PD6720 to be programmed and operated through the cover window, thus eliminating the need to remove the cover in dirty or wet environments.

The ProtEX-MAX PD8-6060 process meter offers all the functionality of the ProVu PD6060 as a CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certified explosion-proof product. It is available in an aluminum or stainless steel enclosure and will operate over a wide temperature range of -55 to 65°C (-67 to 149°F). It accepts two inputs of either a process current (4-20 mA) or process voltage (0-5V, 1-5V, etc.) signal. It displays these signals on a dual-line, 6-digit Sunbright sunlight readable display. The meter can be customized such that these two inputs are displayed in a variety of ways, including both at the same time with tags or the result of math functions performed on one or both of the inputs. The PD8-6060 can be equipped with four internal relays and a 4-20 mA analog output. It can be programmed and operated without opening the housing by using the built-in CapTouch through-glass buttons or the RS-485 serial communication port with free Modbus protocol.

The ProtEX-MAX PD8-6080 Super Snooper Modbus scanner offers all the functionality of the ProVu PD6080 as a CSA, ATEX, and IECEx certified explosion-proof product. It is available in an aluminum or stainless steel enclosure and will operate over a wide temperature range of -55 to 65°C (-67 to 149°F). It is a multi-purpose display and controller capable of scanning up to 16 process variables and includes dual analog process inputs. The scanner can be programmed as a Modbus RTU master, slave, or snooper. It is the ideal display for Modbus multivariable transmitters or for existing Modbus networks with transmitters in need of a conveniently located display in a hazardous area. As a master, the PD8-6080 can read up to 16 Modbus registers on up to 16 Modbus devices and automatically alternate each of these process variables (PVs) on the dual-line display along with a unit and tag for each. In snooper mode, the scanner can read any Modbus variables being polled by a master, which allows you to easily add a display into an existing Modbus network. Powerful math functions may be applied to the analog or Modbus inputs, such as addition, difference, average, and ratio. The PD8-6080 can be equipped with four internal relays and a 4-20 mA output. It can be programmed and operated without opening the housing by using the built-in CapTouch through-glass buttons.
