Make 2017 Your Best Year Ever

Jo Ryan, VP of Sales and Marketing at Precision Digital

To our distributor partners: Increasing your sales of Precision Digital products (and by extension, your sales of level sensors, flowmeters and various transmitters and transducers) is a goal my team and I are committed to achieving in 2017. Our products are an integral part of the complete level, flow, temperature and pressure solution you sell.
Perhaps the easiest way we help you sell the complete solution is the variety of working demo units we make available to you that can power up your transmitter. This gives you the ability to demonstrate two products at once and is particularly effective when demonstrating a blind transmitter. One comment I hear from our distributors is that more discount would increase their sales. If you feel that a larger discount would increase your sales, I would like to hear your ideas and work out a plan with you to make 2017 your best year ever with Precision Digital.

Four Tips for Wireless Installations
PDW wireless devices have been designed with ease-of-use in mind, with intuitive programming through either the front buttons or PDW Manager programming software. However, wireless communications, no matter the device, can be negatively affected by certain factors, such as physical obstacles and improper equipment placement. This could lead to extended troubleshooting during or after equipment installation. Keep these four wireless installation tips in mind when planning your next wireless install.

New Loop Leader PD6600 and PD6620 Series
Precision Digital's new Loop Leaders are two-wire loop-powered 1/8 DIN meters and rate/totalizers with an information packed display for alarms, pump control, and retransmission. A dual-line display featuring five alphanumeric digits on the top line and eight on the bottom line, preprogrammed engineering units, and optional bargraph display provide a clear and attractive presentation of the process. All models come equipped with two open collector outputs and are available with two solid state relays and a 4-20 mA analog output. These outputs can be programmed for alarm indication, signal retransmission via pulse or analog signal, pump control, and a number of other useful features. The Loop Leader is built in a shallow-depth case with a NEMA 4X/IP65 front and features loop-powered backlighting and a wide -40 to 167°F (-40 to 75°C) operating temperature range. It doesn't matter if it's indoors or outdoors, in bright sunlight or a dimly lit plant, or in an area that is wet, dirty, hot, or cold, the Loop Leader can go just about anywhere.

Precision Digital's New Wireless Products
Precision Digital wireless products make it simple to get analog, discrete, or Modbus signals from where you have them to where you need them. From a simple point-to-point wireless bridge system like the PDW30 to the PDW90 point to multi-point wireless base station, the PDW series can be an easy and economical signal wire replacement for almost any industrial application. Customize your wireless system anyway you need to with the PDW90 Base Station and field units. The PDW90 base station is housed in a NEMA 4X IP65 enclosure and supports up to 32 field units, 16 input/output modules, and RS-485 Modbus communications. The PDW30 wireless bridge units and PDW90 field units are packaged in a rugged, weather-tight NEMA 4X, IP68 enclosure that is designed to meet the demands of industrial installations. The PDW products have a range of 1 mile line-of-sight outdoors and 500 feet indoors. Learn more about Precision Digital's wireless solutions.
