Precision Digital Serial Communications Converters are ideal for connecting compatible Precision Digital meters and controllers to PCs, PLCs, and Modbus networks for programming, configuration, monitoring, and data communication applications.

The PDA7485 RS-232 to RS-422/485 converter converts unbalanced, full-duplex RS-232 signals to balanced, full or half-duplex RS-422 or RS-485 signals.

The PDA8232 USB to RS-232 converter is a 3 ft. cable used to convert USB (male) to RS-232 (male).

The PDA8485 USB to RS-485 converter converts USB to balanced, full or half-duplex RS-422 or RS-485 signals.

By bridging common serial communication standards, Precision Digital Serial Communications Converters help simplify system connectivity and improve access to process data across a wide range of industrial applications.

USB Drivers

USB drivers for the PDA8006/PDA8008 serial communications adapters are available for download. These drivers allow a PC to recognize the adapter and enable proper serial communication between the meter and MeterView/MeterView Pro software. Driver installation may be required before the adapter can be used for data monitoring or other serial communication functions.
