Program Relay Operations
  1. Set Up a High Alarm Relay
    Note: There are three relays in the Nova Virtual Meter, Out1, Sub1, and Sub2. Set Up for all relays are similar. There are three programmable alarms. Any relay may be programmed to trigger off of any alarm. These instructions define the setup of standard relay Out1 to function as alarm 1 and alarm 1 to be a high alarm.
    1. Press and hold Set/Ent for 3 seconds to enter the setup menu.
    2. Press Down three times to reach the lockout password,.
    3. Press Set/Ent to enter the lockout password (the default is 0).
    4. Press Down two times to access(Output Group).
    5. Press Set/Ent to access parameter.
    6. Verify the default setting of(Alarm 1). Change if required.
    7. Press Set/Ent to accept Out1 relay operation as alarm 1 if changed.
    8. Press Set/Ent multiple times untilis displayed.
    9. Press Down to access(Alarm Group).
    10. Press Set/Ent to access parameter(Alarm 1 Type).
    11. Verify the default setting of(High Alarm, Forward Acting). Change if required.
    12. Press Set/Ent to access(Alarm 1 Trigger).
    13. Press Up, Down, and Left to set this parameter to the high alarm trigger point.
    14. Press Set/Ent to accept the alarm point if changed.
    15. Press Set/Ent to access parameter(Alarm 1 Deadband).
    16. Press Up, Down, and Left to set this parameter to the desired reset deadband.
    17. Press Set/Ent to accept the deadband if changed.
    18. Press Set/Ent to access parameter(Alarm 1 Delay).
    19. Press Up, Down, and Left to set this parameter to the desired number of seconds to delay the alarm activation.
    20. Press Set/Ent to accept the alarm delay if changed.
    21. Press and hold Set/Ent for 3 seconds to exit the setup menu.

The Nova VirtualMeter assumes a 22°C or 72°F ambient temperature while programmed for a temperature input.
