PD6870

PD8 ProtEX-MAX Series

The ProtEX-MAX Series has been designed to offer the functions and features of any PROVU, Trident X2, Snooper, or Vigilante II model in a great looking explosion-proof housing. However, the PD8 series is not just an 1/8 DIN meter mounted in an explosion-proof housing. A special bezel and electronics were designed exclusively for the ProtEX-MAX. The bezel and faceplate give the front panel a very finished appearance and house the additional electronics for the PD8. Program and operate the meter without opening the housing using the built-in SafeTouch® through-glass button programming on all units, or the serial communication port with free Modbus® protocol available on most units.

PD6870

PD6870 ProtEX-One Explosion-Proof Loop-Powered Process Meter

The PD6870 is a rugged, loop-powered meter with 1" display digits in an explosion-proof enclosure for demanding applications in hazardous areas or in the harshest environmental conditions. The meter derives all of its power from the 4-20 mA loop with a small 1 volt drop for easy installation in almost any system.

It is programmed using four easy to access front-mounted control dials with no complex or difficult to read programming menus necessary for setup. The numeric display will read from -1999 to 1999 over a 2000 count user adjustable scaling span. The backlight option lets you see the display under any lighting condition and is powered from the 4-20 mA loop with no additional power supply required.

PD663 ProtEX-Lite Explosion-Proof Loop-Powered Process Meter

The PD663 is a rugged, explosion-proof NEMA 4X loop-powered meter perfect for applications where a simple, inexpensive display is required in a hazardous area.

The PD663 derives all its power from the 4-20 mA loop. The PD663 is scaled using four push buttons and can be done without applying an actual calibration signal, and through the explosion-proof enclosure with optional magnetic reed switches and a magnet key. The PD663's display will read up to 2999; we call this 3½+ digits! The loop-powered backlighting option lets you see the display under any lighting condition and is powered completely from the 4-20 mA loop. This means there is no need for additional wiring and never any batteries to change.

The PD663 is housed in a rugged, explosion-proof, cast aluminum, NEMA 4X enclosure and is provided with two threaded conduit holes and integrated pipe or wall mounting holes.

The PD6800's display will read up to 99999 digits. The loop-powered backlighting option lets you see the display under any lighting condition and can be powered from the 4-20 mA loop, or separate DC power.

PD6830 ProtEX Explosion-Proof Multi-Powered Pulse Input Rate/Totalizer

The PD6830 is a rugged, explosion-proof NEMA 4X pulse-input rate/totalizer is perfect for applications where a 5-digit display with 7 alphanumeric character legend and/or or Total is required in a NEMA 4 and/or hazardous area enclosure.

The PD6830, and its backlight, can be battery, DC, or output loop-powered. The PD6830 has four optical sensors that operate as through-glass buttons (SafeTouch®; infrared buttons) used to configure and scale with or without applying an actual calibration signal. The PD6830's display will read up to 99999 digits. The pulse input is isolated and can accept a wide range of flow transmitters, including the mV input from a magnetic flowmeter as well as high frequency signals.
