Precision Digital offers digital pressure gauges that will take a direct pressure input as well as digital meters that will accept the voltage or current output from a pressure transducer or transmitter. The digital pressure gauges are available in Precision Test, Industrial and General Purpose versions. They can be battery, loop or DC powered and have relays and analog outputs.
The digital meters will provide the power to drive the transmitter or transducer and can be field calibrated for display in engineering units. They are available in panel, NEMA 4X and explosion-proof configurations

Compound Pressure
Compound pressure is easily measured on an analog gauge by changing the scale on the gauge to reflect the non-linearity of combining the vacuum and positive pressure ranges. However, this is more difficult on a digital meter and can only be accomplished if the meter has provisions for multi-point calibration. The following illustrates measuring compound pressure using an analog gauge and a digital meter connected to a pressure transmitter.
An analog gauge is scaled from 30 to 0 and then 0 to 60.
The PD655 is set up for three points of calibration so it can display both vacuum and positive pressure

Local Pressure Display & Remote PC Monitoring
Say you have an application where you want to display the pressure from 6 vessels right on the shop floor and also display the data and collect it on your computer back in your office. You can do this with Precision Digital's Trident meter and MeterView® software. We can provide the enclosure and engraved labels so that you have everything you need! MeterView software even allows you to remotely acknowledge relays.
"The indicators are not just for good looks but they serve an important function when the operators are pulling bottom ash. The controls for the vacuum pumps are remote from the boiler fronts and the pumps them-selves are on sixth floor while the indicators are on grade floor. The indicators display bottom ash vacuum so the operators have instant status of the vacuum system running. The large indicator was our solution to help the operators and help prevent plugging the system when ash was being pulled.
The pressure transducers in the lower part of the photograph are connected to the PD675 loop-powered meters mounted in the panel. The PD675 is approved for Division 2 locations
The Vigilante® II annunciators are compact, panel-space saving, easy to use annunciators available in models to handle either four or eight pressure switches. Each switch can have its own custom message, such as "Low Oil Pressure", on the Vigilante. When a pressure switch trips, the LED for that input flashes, a horn sounds and a relay transfers. The Vigilante annunciator can even indicate which switch tripped first.
