The PDA2448 explosion-proof enclosure is a safe and rugged way to mount a Fluidwell F-Series product in a hazardous location. The enclosure comes standard with two ¾" NPT conduit holes and more conduit holes can be special ordered. The PDA2448 explosion-proof enclosure can be mounted on a two-inch pipe by using the model PDA6545 two-inch pipe mounting kit. Precision Digital also provides explosion-proof control stations that can be used to program and operate the Fluidwell F-Series product inside the explosion-proof enclosure. Enclosures, accessories, and instruments are ordered separately.
The PDA2448 explosion-proof enclosure and PDA2453 explosion-proof control station provide a convenient and low-cost way to locate and operate Fluidwell F-Series products in a hazardous area. This system is particularly useful for hazardous area batching applications as the Fluidwell's Enter, Start, and Stop buttons can be remotely wired to the PDA2453-ESS control station

 OPTIONAL EXPLOSIONS-PROOF CONTROL STATION
This Explosion-Proof Control Station can be used with Fluidwell F-1 Series products that are mounted in the explosion-proof enclosure. The Control Stations contain switches that can be connected to terminals on the Fluidwell product to control various functions (e.g. Batch Controller would have ENTER, START, & STOP buttons).
Note: Fluidwell F-1 Series products must be ordered with the "IC" option (terminal connectors for remote operation of the front panel buttons).

Enclosure: Explosion-proof sand-cast aluminum with glass window, 0.3% max copper content, NEMA 4, 7, & 9, IP66. UL Classified & CSA Certified Class I Groups C & D, Class II Groups E, F & G, Class III hazardous outdoor (Type 4) locations. Two ¾" NPT holes provided at opposite sides. Up to four holes can be provided for an additional charge.
Mounting: Enclosure contains four 7/16" (11.1 mm) holes for wall-mounting. A 2" pipe mounting kit is also available.
